Close to the Woy Woy Peninsula, stunning beaches, major shopping centres and a railway station.

Empire Bay is a great place to live. A convenient post office, cafe, delli, hairdresser and barber, people will stop and say hello to you as you walk down the road. It is where kids cycle in the streets,families picnic on the beautiful waterfront, fishermen launch their boats and where ducks and cockatoos go about their daily business.

Empire Bay is a village situated on Cockle Creek in the Central Coast Council  Local Government Area of the NSW Central Coast and is the Federal electorate of Roberston.

The Empire Bay Progress Association Inc. is a non profit organisation that supports our local area and districts and other community groups.   We are responsible for maintaining the Progress Hall which is owned by the community. It is used for various activities and is available for permanent and casual hire  ( on the weekends ).

Progress Association Meetings

All residents of Empire Bay welcome to join the Empire Bay Progress Association (EBPA).

We are always happy to receive new ideas and we value enthusiasm from members and volunteers, new and old. Membership is $5 pa and entities you to vote on any matters put before the bi- monthly meetings that are held on the 3rd Tuesday of February , April , June August , October and December commencing at 7.30 pm in the Progress Hall.

Everyone is welcome to stay after the meeting for a cuppa and chat with the members of our community.

HIRING OUR HALL                   

 The Empire Bay Hall is the perfect place to celebrate a birthday, Christening or hold an intimate wedding.  With ducted air-conditioning, kitchen facilities including fridge, oven, microwave, tea & coffee making facilities, an accessible bathroom inside and outside, enclosed secure garden area, plenty of furniture for both inside and outside, BBQ and a TV & DVD player with overhead monitor,  Empire Bay Hall is the perfect venue.

  •     $ 35.00 p/h for bookings. (Minimum 3-hours hire)
  •     $20.00 for hiring our BBQ .  4 burner Hot Plate.  
  •     $20.00 for the hire of out door tables and chairs.
  •     $20.00 Utility fees for Jumping Castle operation.
  •     $300.00  Security deposit.

Conditions for Casual Bookings

Please read our Conditions of Hire Agreement with attached form to complete and sign. A copy of the 4 page agreement is shown below for your perusal.

We require all Hall hirers to clean up.  This includes putting crockery and cutlery away after washing them up and emptying all bins into the appropriate collection bins.

 All tables and chairs need to cleaned and put back where they were found.  

The hall should to be swept out.  If the BBQ is used, it must be cleaned and placed back in the shed where it is stored.

Note: A cleaning fee of $50 p/h will apply if the Hall is not left as it was when you arrived

A refundable security deposit of $300 is required with every booking.

These fees are to be paid via Direct Deposit by the Tuesday before the weekend of your booking and are refunded to your bank account via a Direct Credit, after inspection of premises , unless the Hall is left in an unacceptable condition after your hire

*** We do not cater to teenage / young adult parties up to the age of 25
